Message from the General Manager

It is with great pride and honor to be your General Manager of La Grange Country Club.  As such, it is my goal to create a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to “create memories daily” for you and your guests.  Our opportunities are endless in establishing our club as the finest country club in the Chicagoland area.

I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing our ideas together to make the entire membership feel proud to call La Grange Country Club their home away from home.  Feel free to stop by my office or give me a call if there is anything you would like to discuss. I would enjoy enhancing your membership experience.

Formerly, Todd was  the General Manager at Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort, IL, a private equity club with 450 members.  While at Prestwick, Todd managed the renovation and expansion of their golf course, the updating and expansion of their pool, and the complete overhaul, design and expansion of their Snack Shop. He also instituted a membership drive program in 2008 that resulted in three times the number of new members from 2007.  Prior to joining Prestwick, he was the Assistant General Manager at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, where they hosted the LPGA and other high profile golf tournaments. While there, he exceeded profitability forecasts by 12 percent each month through tighter cost controls in purchasing and receiving and driving revenue in high-revenue/high margin areas such as banquets and wine dinners. He also was Director of Food and Beverage at Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano, CA, where he was involved in making food and beverage more profitable. Todd also worked at Bear’s Best Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV, St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, CA, Birnam Wood Club in Santa Barbara, CA and The Pacific

Club in Newport Beach, CA.

Todd received his bachelor of science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.  He is a member of the Club Managers Association of America; a recipient of the ClubCorp Gold Star Circle of Excellence and TEAM Food and Beverage Excellence Award; and a recipient of the Chalone Scholarship from the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Napa Valley.

Born and raised in California, Todd, his wife, Mollie, and their daughter, Paris, reside in Western Springs.  Mollie also has an impressive resume with her work in the hotel and service industry.
